At work today. So I’m doing the best for my body by skipping coffee, downing glasses of water.
Breakfast was a quick cup of coffee between clearing dishes from having people over last night and looking after Ryder. 35 calories.
Dinner was soup with crackers - 200 calories. A stolen tablespoon of ice cream - 50 calories? (2 scoops = 100 calories, a tablespoon could equal a scoop but who the hell knows) 250 calories.
Tea is towered chicken, boiled potatoes, green peas, side salad - 500 calories.
Will add in plenty of fruit, a post shred protein boost and bulk my side salad up with some seeds to make sure I’m the right side of 1000 calories come bed time.
I have realised that while in an ideal world just shredding and not caring about the calories I eat would get me bikini ready, that’s just not realistic for 34 (ahh!) days. So I’m keeping a beady eye on them.
I’m thinking I’ll weigh in/measure up/bikini photoify every 5 days to keep a decent level of progress going here?
Just finished day 3 of Level 2 Shredding. I skipped straight past Level 1 as it just bores me, and doesn’t give me the ‘burn’ anymore. My arms are aching, my dough covered abs sting. This is what I need, I missed it.
Bought 2 dresses and some wedges for the holiday today, my holiday wardrobe is almost complete! I just need to find someone to puppy sit for an afternoon so I can get my country arse into the city for some final Primark Therapy. Classy, as ever.

I love this not only because I looove squats
(even if I start cursing around the 50th one or so)but because it’s not hating on any other body type. It’s nt showing a picture of what your butt SHOULDN’T look like (like that other picture going around on Tumblr). I love it.I have serious butt envy because mine is flat as a board. LOL (anyone want my number? No?)
Boyfriend noticed change after 2 weeks of 15-45 squats a day. Pants got tighter at the butt after 4 weeks. Squat.

Last Summer I started my weight loss journey. I lost 25lb in total, and I kept it off. Something I’m still immensely proud of given my rocky track history. From November through Winter I sempt to catch every bug going - you know when Jillian says ‘get comfortable with being uncomfortable’? Well, being ill became my normal! Now Spring has sprung all the bugs in the world have passed and I’m ready to get back on this.
My dream holiday is 36 days away. Thirty Six. We booked it last August, I’m used to it being a lifetime away, I can’t quite grasp it being so close. But what I can grasp is not liking how I look in my bikinis. I’m not a total mess in them, just a little doughy where I’d rather be firm. You know the drill. I have enough time to comfortably complete the Shred - lets just agree, it’s the best work out DVD. But, I want an extra boost so I’m going for 37 days. I won’t be doing any other exercise - we have a little 8 week old puppy so I only get his nap times to myself, I can’t commit myself to anymore than 30 minutes a day - and diet wise I’ll just be watching what I eat, cutting down my portion sizes and upping my water intake. That’s it, and it should work.
I just need a little motivation.
